I don't want this to sound like a complaint, because it really isn't. I am constantly amazed at the 3d models I see posted here and around the Internet. But lately I've seen a slight gap, or rather a niche that needs to be filled. That niche is in mudane models. For example, its all well and good to have Ferraris, Porches, and Caddys out there, but if your trying to compose a scene with an average everyday person, a Sentra or a Taurus model would come in handy. Also, I've noticed (it could just be my poor searching skills) the lack of purses for the female models in the libraries. Little props such as these can really bring a bit of reality to a scene. Am I way out in left field on this one? If so I do apologize, but I'd be interested in hearing the communities feedback on this issue. So what do you think?

There's a whole bunch of "mundane" car models at the following website. They're mostly in 3dmax format but if you know someone who has max or have 3dexplorer (or whatever it's called these days) it's a snip to convert them. A little work needs to be done on a couple which seem to explode a tad but they're nice models. http://www.maxnet.ru/aks/models_R.html

If you search for Maclean in the 3dCommune freestuff I think he has some handbags and other common day items available. I can't offhand remember exactly what he's got lurking around as there's a fair bit of it, but I'm sure there's a make up set, purse or handbag and a few other things you might find useful. I don't think he posts to freestuff here so you'll need to pop over to 3dc

Very cool! Thanks for the link. A lot of "mudane" cars there to work with!

Make a list of all the things you can think of that you would like to see and post them here.
