As professor Braffnerd looked out the window at the mountains his plane was flying over...he suddenly realized what they reminded him of... (mixture of ultrafractal and terragen)

I see that sort of thing whenever I fly over New Mexico- mostly buried and eroded remnants of old volcanic craters. Excellent image. How do you get something like that?

i created a mandelbrot in uf, turned it into a greyscale bitmap in paintshop, imported it into terragen, set perspective to be 1500 feet up with the viewpoint directly under the camera, tossed some random colors into several surface layers and rendered it.

And if you look over to your right you can see super man's hideout"Tha Crystal Palace"..P.S. Don't tell Lexx Luthor...

hehehe, it reminds me of an old game where you had metal shavings enclosed on a board and a magnet to pass under it and make pictures from! Same texture :)
