Determination flooded my mind as I struggled for first. Scrapes and bruises covered my body as I climbed...climbed...climbed for the sky. One foot after the other, one hand after the other. Hearing the struggling of Tempest as he moaned from pain and sorrow because I was ahead distracted me, yet it made me feel good that the best man WAS first. When I reached the top, the feeling of being first overwhelmed me with happiness and joy. 50 minutes later, Tempest was half-way up. Oh do I enjoy winning =) .
