I would like to remove eyelashes from my P4F model. I know it is possible if I set transparency 100%. What I want to do is to remove it from the mesh forever and never appear any more. I removed lashes using rhino from the OBJ file but it still remains when I call new P4F from my library although "OBJ file does not have lashes". I tried to use magnets to inverse their position into the body but it is difficult because lash size is small and sensitive. I finally tried to analyse CR2 file and find the part that contains info. about lashes but I failed. Clothing characters and props are easy to handle but people is not that easy. Please tell me if you have any idea to remove them. Happy rendering.

The lashes are probably still showing up in Poser because, although you removed them from the base .obj, Poser is reading the geometry from the binary .rsr. Unless you're very familiar with the inner workings of Poser files and character creation, I do not recommend that you delete the lashes. If you remove them from the mesh, you'll change the vertex count of the head, which will make all of Posette's head morphs unusable, in addition to other problems that might occur due to their absence. A better solution is to make the lashes completely transparent, as you have done, or use a no-lashes morph to hide the lashes. Unfortunately, the Lashes morph built into Posette, which is intended to adjust lash length, doesn't do a good job of hiding the lashes, even at a value of -1. If you have Traveler's MorphWorld CD, you'll find a no-lash morph buried somewhere inside.

Thank you very much, Little Dragon. I also realised RSR file make it impossible. I agree that lashes morph is not working for what I want. I guess It is possible if I just squeeze lash meshes into eyecovers. It means I make a kind of no-lash morph target. I wanted to remove lashes because I cannot set transparency in cartoon-like imaging. Thank you again for your comment. I think I find the way. I will show you better images after I succeed to remove them.

Little Dragon and other poserers! I found the way. Please enjoy the lash-moved cartoon model image.

It's very nice. How did you do it?

nyar1ath0tep, As Little Dragon commented, Traveler's MorphWorld has no-lash MT. I rescaned my CD and found it. Nowadays, I try to make cartoon-like images and I actuaaly made tens of gals and clothings. However, I do not have many environments to make proper cartoon. The environment and props do not have to be detailed and texture map is unnecessary because cartoon is not photographic images. huhu. If you are interested in my cartoon-like images, let us talk about it later. Thank you for your comment.
