I'm new at this, so this might not be the right question. How do I animate Poser characters in Bryce animations ? -Kevin

I really don't think it is possible. Bryce should have done something to allow artists to use Poser animations somehow. But if there is a way besides exporting the figures frame by frame, figure by figure into Bryce, I would love to know. -Adam

ugh tell me about it. I'm farily new too kevin. I asked the same question awhile back and the same answer was given to me. You would think that beacause both Poser and Bryce are made by metacreations they would work together better. Maybe i'm just crazy tho! haha

Yeah, a little more communication between the two programs would make ALL of our lives a whole lot easier! And now it may be too late for them to work together because of the problems which tick us all off...errr.

you can make video clip with bryce and then make animations in poser and take the tow video and mix them with good video editing software that support allfa channels (page 251 in the Poser4 User Guide.pdf) th alpha channels remove the background and leave you onely with the figure waklking(the animations)and transparent background so you can put the bryce video (like skies movieng) and put it behind the figure

Hi I have seen various articles about adding a ball at the joint, parenting the leg or arm to the ball, and rotating the ball to move the leg-very clunky and robotlike-Cecilia Zimmer wrote it up (again) for this months issue of 3D Artist Magazine. Eric Walters

Personally, I render each of my figure animations individually on a blue background. I then use After effects to color key (Blue Screen) them in. It works well, plus you can add some cool effects, like Motion blurring or ripples. Also, you can adjust the colors and bluriness of each charachter to match their position in the light. I can send you an example if you want to see it. I think you can animate poser figures in Ray Dream Studio, but you need the Patch from metacreations. Alas, Bryce does not have this option.
