How can I get rid of the shadow on the wall without affecting the light too much? This is a nice light, but the shadow of the figure on the wall just throws the whole thing off. Thanks!

Maybe turn shadows off the light that doing it. You don't want to lose the shadows at her feet, they look good. Tashar 59

Correct, turn the shadows off for the light that casts this shadow. You will find a check box in the light properties dialogue. The real problem, though, is why the shadow appears like this? Is the girl really standing on the floor or is she hovering over it? A correct shadow on the wall would give a nice depth to the scene, but the shadow should originate from her feet. If you get it to do that, you can adjust the shadow strength for the light in question to make it less dramatic, I think that would improve the picture. Overall, it's a great pic :-)

Nice image Silver! Yep, I think you should keep that shadow too - looks cool, especially if she's animated. :-) Dave :-)

Thanks folks! Yes, she's on the floor, at least her toes are. I've never had this problem with a light before, didn't realize you could turn off shadows for each light. I'll give that a shot!

Is the floor NOT casting a shadow, with the light below floor level?
