Subject: AFA Prop Dept....update

well for those waiting for the rest of the carpathia, sorry gang but you are gonna have to wait. The department got hit up for some testing, and the computer room isn't working to save it's life. they have a chair done for it but that's it. the walls they want to do are so poser heavy that big blue would have a hard time rendering it. so they are tinkering with ideas so far they all suck or flat look bad. then yesterday one looked up and said "Hey remember the old 70's show SPACE:1999?" and that started them all talking about it. they have made the stunner so far and want to do the comlock thing. I told them they could go ahead and make them then back to carpathia. So in case you were wondering where the heck the rest of the carpathia kit is, well now you know..

I always thought the one from Space 1999 looked like a stapler. :-) This one looks a bit like a stapler too but a really COOL high tech stapler. :-) Seriously it is very neat. It's amazing how fast 'they' can come up with these things.

The Uniform: This is my feeble attempt at a texture, I'm not very good. I like the ship's name patch, but I'm not to crazy about the shoulder patch.

1999 was an awesome show. Great props. Now all you need is a poser ready Eagle with deployable mid section and you're set to go. :)

Been a while since I've seen Space: 1999. Great props!

Mason, check out J.A. Murphy's site. He's got an Eagle in Max, Lightwave, and 3DS formats, with all the options. There's even a landing pad.
