ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

OK, so maybe that isn't a real word. But I feel better, anyhow. Actually, I've been making progress on the head I'm trying to model. I found a book (How to Draw the Human Head by Louise Gordon) that's helping me fix a lot of mistakes. I'm leaving the eyesockets go for now, and am working on other bits. Here's a snapshot of progress so far.

And the profile...

That's funny! Not having a good day I take it.

Well, it's a bit better now while I'm denying eye sockets exist.

OOPS.........I see that you posted two images. I meant your first post was funny. Not the head. Keith

Heads are never easy. Here's a head I'm working on. Another good book is "Drawing the Head and Figure" by Jack Hamm.

This is realy very good. I posted a small tut on modeling a simple face starting with the eye socket in the amapi forum for those that have amapi also.

Very nice tutorial. I'm going to try it in Carrara. I modeled my head in halves also. I haven't gotten around to welding both halves together and smoothing yet. one of theses days.....so many projects, so little time.

Wow, great character Keith. Loads of personality. I'll check out the tutorial, ppowellaa. It sounds very helpful.
