Hi gang... I'm having a very strange problem. In the Browser window, Carrara 1.01, I cant load any new Shaders, Deformers, etc... All the options are grayed out... Whats up with this. I've done it in the past under a differant OS, WIN98SE. I'm now running Win 2k Pro with all the latest Service Pack. PIII 875Mhz, GeForce 3 TI200 64mb AGP and 512mb RAM. Has anyone else seen this before? See attached image. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Clint

Bizarre, bizarre ... :/ Have you tried to delete the Carrara.ini file ? Maybe if you reinstall that will fix the problem ...

Having a similiar problem on Mac OSX can't archive new deformers;however shaders and models will archive just fine. Reinstall is a pain that probably won't fix the problem, but you never know.

OK now this might a bit off track but I believe hearing something about this somewhere, dont hold me too this but I believe this rememdy was (And I could be wrong) was to delete the carrara ini file. Thus causing Carrara to reload the settings file. Someone comment on this if I'm wrong.

That's what i would try at first, before reinstalling . Backup the .ini file in case it doesn't work .

I had the same problem, this is gonna sound strange but it worked for me. Undock the shader browser and redock it, and presto... maybe. It worked for me. I have no idea how or why. I stumbled across it accidently when I got frustrated and slung the mouse.
