This was not intended as an image to present, per se, but as an exercise for myself working with/mastering the same model, different textures, and transmaps. I used the same .obj for both plus Kyoko hair. Spike gave me the tip of using cntrl/click over whatever mesh section I wanted to work with and using this you can select any texture for any part of a figure. With Kyoko hair there are 2 transmaps also and one for the eyelashes. In the second image, I changed the figure's texture to Tim Laubach's Asian, went back to the original Kyoko hair texture (but I played around with diffusion, ambience, etc. in both), and because the Asian eyebrows didn't map well on this figure, brought in Diane TG's Nikko texture and used the eyebrows from that (if I had 'smoothed' them a bit more in Poser originally they would look better). If anyone has any questions about using these transmaps, I'll be glad to answer them--they do get frustrating, but I have them all figured out now. Diane B
I neglected to mention I did a very minor bit of post on the top image. With the Kyoko hair, you get a small 'crack' on the forehead (see bottom figure)--I think because it doesn't fit absolutely tight or maybe quite down on the head, but I've played with it a lot and decided its easier to do just a bit of post. I also softened some of the shadowing just a bit. Diane B
Nice Diane And thanks for the above tutorial on Texture and transparency from P4 to Bryce. I was about to try that and you saved me quite abit of time! cheers! Eric Walters
