This is pretty cool. I would try to find a "no ears" morph somewhere if you can, or use a magnet to pull them in, they protrude through the helmet. Nice work, Davo

Damned you're right Davo ... I'll make some morph to put them off ... Thx.
Routledge posted Mon, 29 April 2002 at 3:44 AM
That is looking good! You could do with some antialias on the bumpmap to reduce the jaggies. Either increase its resolution or try softening the bumpmap in your paint package, or a combination of the two. Also if you`re trying to directly emulate Sorayama you could add some blue colour into the top half of the reflection map. Try this link if you want to remove the ears, as Davo suggests. http://www.3d-cc.com/DL_pages/MS05.html Great work Mark

Yes Routeledge ... In fact, I won't change the metal reflexion texture but the lights colours .. but only for final render ... concerning 3Dcc link, thank you, but I'm not sure this morph could work on Vicky2 .. I'll try anyway :o) You're are right concerning the resolution of the map, I have to work on it, first I want to achieve the map, then rescale by 200% or 300%, bluring, then cutting the edges and bluring again .. pfiuuuuuuu ... lot of work still to do to get proper render :o))))) PhEn.

PhEn, Regarding texture creation, I hear you, and I sympathise B). Trying to create a Victoria texture of my own took weeks, sometimes I did over 100 test renders in one sitting. Any Victoria morph should work on both Victoria 1 and 2, so you should find it works okay. If however you intend to sell this character you would probably do better to create your own. BTW, Its now 11.25 in Paris, and you
re later still!! Mark

lol ... I'm much more interested in harving some comments than diving in my administrative folders for the moment ... ok for the morph, "I'll go to bed less silly" (French expression translated)... well, about selling, I don't know ... I don't even think about posting ... I'll see when the work is finished (if happens one day !). anyway, thank you for all this comments ..

Very very nice. Good work. Excellent lines; I agree about the resolution. If you can get rid of the jaggies on the grooves, you have yourself a winner. Will we see it offered here?

One comment--besides the fact that I love the texture-- check the terms of the Freebie helmet, it may be, most likely will be, for non-commercial use. Emily

Emily ... For sure I'm far from 'selling' this ... anyway, if this would happen, I have no intention to take the work of anybody else ... And precisely, I would probably offer this as suggested by Hiram ... you'd be then invited to DL it :o) PhEn.

Problem is, I think this is really worth selling. It's very very nice. I'm a sorayama fan. Emily
