Subject: Practicing on brow transmap, opinions wanted :)

The face and texture is Kerri by Spanki (eyelash trans too).I am trying to get an eybrow that looks good for face textures I am working on. So what do you think? thumbs up or thumbs down? Thanks

Beautifully painted! Have you tried stepping back from the figure to see if the brow line is defined enough though? I downloaded a beautiful asian character last week whose brows look good close up; but move her back from the camera and they're pale and 'gray'ish. After staring curiously at my own eyebrows in the mirror, I realized that it is the overlapping of the ends of the individual hairs that creates the brow line. The same effect is needed in eyelashes (just check close-ups of women with beautiful eyes in any fashion mag). Their eyelashes tend to cross naturally, here and there, producing a 'starry-eyed' effect.....Wish somebody would make us a lash set for Vicki and Posette....(hint, hint!)

Ok, now the brows posted above are from a 1000x1000 trans map, this picture here is the same brows posted above, and on the bottom of this pic is a new 4000x4000 brow transmap which is better now lol

Actually I prefer the 1000x1000. The hairs are longer and more realistic-- if you look at eyebrow hairs, they can be quite long. As Patricia commented above, it's the overlap that makes the brow line. I like the first version: it is a thin, faint brow, very pretty, very subtle. The 4000x4000 map looks a bit plucked and grown out to me.

lol my hubby said the second version looked plucked too! Ron, this isn't my first try believe me, but its the first time I was ever somewhat happy with how the brows looked :) Thanks
