it would be useful to be able to set as a default in the profile whether 'email me when someone replies' to a message is always checked or always unchecked. Course that wont prevent you from checking or unchecking it on an individual basis but right now it is always checked at all times.

Yep, yep, yep! I've asked for this before. Glad I'm not the only one who wants it! I'm on a slow dialup connection, and if I forget to uncheck that wretched box, even though they're only ebots, my mail immediately slows down.

only ebots? doesnt' matter what it was that sent the email, it's still taking up space in your inbox and even if the ebot messages only took up 1 byte each it still adds up sometimes to 20 or so messages in my inbox, most of which i really dont care about but forgot to uncheck the send me email option. but i'm sure there are just as many that would prefer to have it send a message each time and only uncheck it when they really dont want an email update as there are those that want never to get messages unless they specificaly ask. That's why if there was a way to set yes email me or no dont email me in the profile everyone could customize that to their personal prefrences.
