Hello Forum, :o)

Isn't KPTC a Plug-in that should be installed into the Plug-ins directory?

I tried to install it but it does't even recognise that Photoshop is on the system and tries to create its own installation directory: "C:KTC" I think (from memory). :o)

This is fine. I don't mind if it wants to install itself in its own directory but when I click on the Filters menu in Photoshop, I cannot see Kai's Convolver.

Any tips? :o) Thank you.

Somewhere in the Kai directory there should be a file with the extension .8bf...

Copy or move this file to Photoshop's plugin directory and the filters should show up in Photoshop the next time you start it. BTW... You do need to have an open image for the filters to be active.

Good job with getting it loaded at all-- it was always tough to load, even when it first came out. Where did you find Convolver? I got my replacement for the PC-- I had a ancient one for the Mac-- through a discount house, Purplus, I think. It's a fabulous program, I wish they'd upgraded it. I've used it to great success in normalizing TV captures and it's my first choice in recoloring Poser hair. Emily
