After reading Jordy's post an old idea I once had came back to me & now I think it might be a good time to post this here. The thing is the difference in photography - people here in this forum, and others taking part in the contest everytime really make great photos...no matter how skilled they are, cause everybody does their best & tries to learn from eachother and from the feedback they get. Now on the other hand there are people (and there's nothing wrong with that - don't misunderstand) who post other kind of work....more like snapshots of friends, family or whatever. Since the photography is a pretty busy place and it gets busier all the time, feedback and ratings are getting less & less - which in my view is a shame. So my first idea is this: for those who don't know the site photo.net, this photography site has a specific forum for photography critisism/feedback only. With this in mind, I was thinking if we couldn't have two seperate photographt galleries....one as a general photography gallery, where people post anything they want, 3 shots a day and another gallery specifically for posting work you want to be 'reviewed' (and ratedd) by others, giving this gallery a fairly serious character (so that the feedback on our photos becomes a bit more serious too, as well as the ratings....for those who like to be rated), with the restriction of only one post a day, to keep the amount of photos fairly low. The fun part of that might be that a top20, ratings or the amount of views won't any longer be based on the amount of nudeness in your photo or a provoking title or whatever reason that's got nothing to do with the photo itself.
