I've just started working with Carrara, switching over from Bryce. I did a few things with models, and then I started playing with the render engine. I can get a preview in the Assemble Room, but every time I try to start a full render, I get an "Unexpected Error", and the program (sometimes the machine) locks up. I've tried different settings and sizes, but nothing seems to help. I'm running the Windows version on a 350 P2, with 64 megs of RAM, and a Diamond Stealth 32 meg video card. I've got several gigs free on the drive. Everything else seems to work fine, but I'm about to throw this thing out the window. I saw a message from December from someone who had the exact same problem, butu didn't see if she ever got a fix. Can anyone offer any advice, or point me to more resources online I can look up?
