You know, just last night I was thinking, "I haven't been to Kozaburo's site lately. I wonder if he's put up anything new lately?" What's more, I was even thinking about deleting these old relics! You couldn't have timed this more perfectly for me. :) Great work! I know others (myself included) have tried to turn these props into something more useful and failed miserably. I don't know how you did it, but don't stop now, PLEASE!!!

Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I already deleted them, quite some time ago. I never used them and they were just taking up space, so I ditched them. I guess I'll have to figure out how to get them back. Can I do that without doing a whole reinstall of Poser? Thanks, Kozaburo, you're a genius! Melanie
Kelderek posted Thu, 02 May 2002 at 8:11 AM
This looks great, thanks Kozaburo! Since DAZ has a free conversion utility that makes these old "helmets" possible to use on Michael, we will have a whole new set of hair for him too.
bloodsong posted Thu, 02 May 2002 at 8:31 AM
oooooh!!!!! don't delete stuff outta poser before you make zip backups of everything so you don't have to reinstall just to get your stick figures and junk back. :)

I am certainly looking forward to this!! Thanks for all your wonderful contributions Kozaburo!! :) Irene

Folks, there is a larger lesson here, if we want to see it. All of that older Poser stuff can be rebuilt to make it more applicable if you want to take the time and energy. I have a whole folder full of P3 textures that I use when I come across a character of that generation (and there are a lot of them out there), and the work I'm doing with the P4 guy shows he can better looking than Michael as well as having the additional advantage of being less memory intensive. Those "relics" have a lot more flexibility than we have them credit for. Beautiful work, Koz. Thanks so much for investing the time and energy into this.

Hi Folks! Kozaburo, you are a master. When the ultimate book on Poser is finally written, you should have a chapter covering your contributions. Peter (Dr Zik)
kupa posted Thu, 02 May 2002 at 10:30 AM
Kozaburo, I agree with Peter's comment above completely. You are on of the driving forces in Poser's history. Good job. Sincerely, Steve Cooper Curious Labs

I agree with everyone else here. You make some of the best hair props and texture maps. What you have done with these hair props looks wonderful. :) Beth

Couldn't come at a better time. Someone a few days ago in the poser Galleries was asking if a short casual but cool style for men couldn't be implemented. Something a little less recognizable or flashy than the great Yann hair, I was assuming. I was also assuming it couldn't be done. Sigh, I forgot about the Great Kozaburo. I certainly forgot about helmet hair. Emily eagerly awaiting these.
Ms_Outlaw posted Thu, 02 May 2002 at 12:23 PM
Can't wait I've often wished the stock poser hair was usable. I like the styles of some of them. Just they look so icky ~G~ The master has done it again.

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! What a nice thing to do for us. I often wondered if those plastic hair props could be altered. I'm so glad you found a way to do this! We've badly needed some way to make the hair useful.

One more thing to add-- I was cruising GQ for ideas for poses and dream shopping for poser clothes-- and versions of Hair number 1 were everywhere. I kept thinking, if only if only. . . Thank you again and again Mr K. Emily

I too wish to say thankyou to Koz. I have loads of hair files that I have bought, but still use his more than anything else.

Amazing! kozaburo, can you do anything with Male Hair 3? I've been using a morphed version for my Arnold Schwarzenneger renders, and it always requires postwork.

If you're taking votes for future projects, I'd love to see "Female Hair 1" trans-mapped. Its symmetry is perfect for a character of mine (using one of Lemurtek's newest 2nd Nature figures). "Male Hair 1" is very similar, just shorter. Altering the upcoming male textures to fit Posette's "wig" shouldn't be that difficult for someone of your obvious talents.
Sincerely,
Bill

hauksdottir posted Thu, 02 May 2002 at 11:11 PM
The public wish list is a great idea, especially if it can be anonymous. He'd just get an ebot from here saying that something he'd been wanting is now on his download page, and it wouldn't even have to be a holiday or anything, just because we cared... the nicest kind of gift. We have all been touched by what he has done for the Poser hair. Carolly
