I am in the process of wanting to create a highly detailed Dyarama of a Ballet Dance Studio with one wall containg mirrors which refect the surrounding objects. My Question is can this be done in Vue and second how would I go about creating them. Dale MacMullin

heyas; yes, you just use a reflective material on them. vue has a ray tracing engine, so your scene can be reflected properly. i'm not sure with version 4 if there is a limit of how many reflected reflections you can have, or what happens when you hit that limit. but i'm working on a scene now that has a ground and a sky both with reflective materials, and nothing is turning out bizarre.

Thanks Bloodsong its good to hear from you :-) If I create a line of flat plains what material and settings would I use?

heyas; well, i can't remember if there is a 'mirror' material, there may well be. i'd start with the silver, and then change the colour to be less bluish-grey.

Perfect! - Thank You Myske, I needed some visual proof that it would do the job with out going through all the trouble of building it, and having it all fail in the end.

Check the 'Basic' Material folder, there's a 'mirror' mat !
