Looks right even on my monitor. You are really getting the lighting of these shapes down perfectly. Wasn't it Edward Weston who photographed the peppers?

The exposure seems perfect to me Michelle. Great photo.
How do you do the duo-toning? Is that a regular feature of
photoshop, or do you have to go through several steps to
do it?

I don't know which program you are using but in Photoshop duo-tones is built into the program. PaintShopPro doesn't have a duotone option built in, you have to convert the image to greyscale and then colorize.....at least that's what it says in the manuel. In Photoshop I always do my normal routine things first, adjust levels or curves, unsharpen mask, and then in the channel mixer convert my image to b&w. Then I convert the image to greyscale and the duo-tone option is then available, where you can set up your two color curves. There are alot of presets in there and I usually just fiddle around until I'm happy with it. No matter which program you're using you should be able to get that duotone color by doing what I said before greyscale and colorize by fiddling with the hue/saturation option.

Thanks Michelle, for the beautiful image of the fruit, those pears look almost bronzed in this photo. Thanks also for the mini-tutorial! (I've been too lazy to look into how to do the duo-tone thing in photoshop, I usually do what you said in the last paragraph, but now I'll try it) :-)>

Lovely tone, you've picked the Duo beautifully - really does seem to have a metallic sparkle. (",)
