A while ago I played with the idea of us having a World Map for us to each put our mark on to tell everyone else where we are.....well, approximately! It got some good comments at the time, but I guess we all got snowed under......Anyways, a friend has just sent me this World Map, so why don't we go for it? At under 10k it's not gonna be a problem for each of us to put our individual dot / cross / mark on a seperate one and add it to the thread..... As the map has no countries, we may want to put where we are actually from, but obviously for security don't wanna be TOO detailed!! May I suggest something along the following lines? Name : Mike Location : North East UK First Language : English Obviously omit anything you don't want known..... Righty, how about we bounce about a few ideas about it first, agree what we want then start a proper thread exclusively with the maps in the near future? Cheeeeeeeeaaaaaazzzzzzz!!! Mike (",)

Heh. It's neat to see a map from the other side of the ocean. All the maps here in the U.S. have North/South America on the left. Anyway... It might be nice to have a set of larger maps. Maybe one for each continent? I know if I put an x on my humble aboad, it would place me anywhere from Maine to Rhode Island. -Taltos

Hehe.....took me a few minutes to figure out why the east coast of North America looked so strange! I agree the map is too small. You need a magnifying glass to find Rhode Island on a map to begin with....now even New England is microscopic...

I am, therefore I create.......

Can a "one-time" poster to the gallery "X" his mark too?

I spend most of my time in the 2D forum (comfort level ;)) but i READ everything here to gleen as much as possible (currently using photography as an additinal tool in composition...) before i embarrass myself by posting crap (or fluff which is just a nicer name for crap...).

I really enjoy the multiple points of views from different countries and different cultures.

Really i don't LURK, but i do LOOK ;)
