I am just new to this, but from what I can tell, Vicky is a refrence to the Victoria model from http://www.daz3d.com . I have found that her clothes are tailored for her, and are hard to get to fit the p4 chars. Thats about all I know atm Juadelsa, sorry :)

I'm guessing you're fairly new to Poser, here's an exerpt from a post I wrote for another new member some time back who expressed confusion over the Poser characters available *************** The company that designed basic figures that come with Poser 4 for the programs original creators was Zygote. Their Poser division has been "split off" into a new company called DAZ3D. (you'll see their products refered by both names). DAZ sells a number of Add-In & extra characters, & accessory files for Poser. Year or so ago, DAZ developed and started selling a higher-detailed, more versatile character they called the "Millenium Woman" (Marketed as Victoria). An enhanced update to Victoria is available as a separate product called Victoria 2. In the same vein they later developed a male character they call the millenium man, or Michael 1, or Millenium Mike, etc. Variations on the Victoria figure have been developed and marketed as "the millenium girls" and the "millenium boys" - both these sets require ownership of a Victoria figure to work. A lot of other companies & individuals make & distribute variations & add-ons for the millenium characters; some are free, some are sold. All of these require the previous purchase of one or another of the DAZ Millenium characters to work. There are also other completely original & separate characters available that don't require the DAZ characters (such as the even higher-Rez Dina, Natalie, Etc), or are based on the basic P4 figures. When you look over the offerings in free stuff, or in the market, look for these terms in their names or descriptions to determine if you could use them. If you're uncertain what you need for a particular product, you can Instant Message or EMail the creator of the product for clarification. Hope this helps orient you. :-)) Render On! leather-guy

Nope, Vicky clothes only fits Vicky. And Posette is the name for the standard female character that comes with Poser, BTW

Vicky's clothes also fit Stephanie.

True, true, I had forgotten. But she's also a "for sale" character, and not standard with Poser.

But depending on what you mean by downloading clothes for Vicky, some of those are dependant on owning previously made and sold clothes models for Vicky. Just check what it is you are downloading so you won't be disappointed. Cris

Viki is Victoria and can only be obtained by purchasing at DAZ. She is not a free model. Many of the models you see for sale are based on her and will tell you that you must own Victoria in order to use the new model. Characters based on the P4 female, also known as Posette, will work so long as you have Poser which comes with Posette. Hope that explains things. Cris

Hi, The standard line is that Victoria is product sold by DAZ/Zygote, copyright infringement is bad, and that you can expect at least a visit from the admins if not an outright ban for asking such questions here. Since we all paid for her, we expect you to do the same. The non-standard line that provided you can speak, and your knuckles don't drag on the floor you can probably find her for "free" but you better pray you have a working firewall, decent virus protection, and a good lawyer if you want to go that route. Especially if you're going to be passing 'round pictures with your name on 'em.... later jb
