pp2 (poser prop) goes into a folder inside the Poser/Runtime/Libraries/Props/[foldername] If they're 3ds, dxf, obj or any other kind of format other than pp2 (ppz for Pro Pack compressed) they need to be imported into poser through the File Import menu and then added to the props library by the little add (+)sign. It would help a little bit to know what sort of files you've downloaded that you're having trouble with. Another possible problem might be that you are extracting to the props/[folder] directory with Winzip and have "use folder names" checked, which means the props are several layers deeper than they should be and Poser can't see them. Hopefully that's of some help.

The .pp2 and the .rsr file goes in a folder of your choice under: runtimelibrariesprops If they are placed there, you will find them under "props" in Poser. If there is a .obj file as well, it should be placed in runtimegeometries in a folder that the creator of the prop usually specifies in the readme file. If not, you can open the .pp2 file in a text editor, the correct path to teh .obj file is stated in the beginning of the .pp2 file. The .obj file must be in the correct folder, otherwise you get an error message when loading the prop.

I shouldn't niggle because that's a damned helpful image for people as reference. But isn't the Poser camera named CM2, not PM2? :)

another thing of note is that you can do some interesting things with the files by purposely changing the suffix. and then putting it where you'd like it to belong. for example having a hair prop not show up under hair where you'd like it! try it out. I'll try to get around to changing the camera no one's ever mentioned it and i didn't catch the typo, thanks.
