I have heard of at least one instance of these "body handles" coming into vue with the figure, via the pz3 import. I have the egyptians on my wish list, and I use the pz3 import almost always as a time saver... I sure do not want to have to post work any little cone things out of a vue render... Has anyone had any problems with this? Is there a remedy? I am wondering, since these handles seem to be a 'body part' if they could be made invisible in the editor...? Lyne

I just did a quick test with the Egyptian dress for Victoria. If you make the body handles invisible in Poser and save the file, then when you import it into Vue the body handles will not be imported.
Another option is to use a pose that is included with the Egyptians which makes the body handles transparent. They would still be imported, but, being transparent, won't show up.
I use the invisibility option, since it's fewer polygons to import and save in Vue, and Vue doesn't need to do additional transparency calculations. And you don't have to worry about any odd transparency effects causing the body handles to become partially or completely visible.

Thank you, Artalgo! I should have mentioned that my friend said the 'handles' were not there in vue, but the DOTS where they were pointing were still there.. did you see any handle dots? (black dots) in your test? Really appreciate your testing for me!! Lyne

I imported Victoria's Egyptian skirt into Vue, using the invisibility method mentioned above, and there was no sign of the body handles or any black dots. I've included a picture of the rendering. I also imported the skirt using the other method I mentioned and it rendered exactly the same. I suppose it's possible that under certain lighting conditions the black dots you mention might appear. Or the version of Vue may make a difference. I'm using the 4.06 patch on my machine.
