So I was getting all those weird error messages before, right? ( http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=694576 ) I get a new external drive, install and format it. Groovy so far. I install Poser. I check it, it works, it renders. I do the upgrade to 4.03 (or whatever the current patch is). Works, renders. Great. I copy the appropriate Runtime files and folders over to it. I try to open one of my characters. Error messages start repeating madly. Hmm. Okay, so I can't open some 50% of the files. I can't open a saved PZ3 without it crashing. I go and delete some of the RSRs for the CR2s and Geometries to see if that's it. Newp. Either won't load or won't render. Can't, in fact, render or load anything but the low poly basic Poser 3-early 4 figures and props. I have no idea what is going on here. I can see Poser getting corrupted on my original hard drive, sure. But when I put the disk in, suddenly IT is corrupted MANY months after my initial install that worked perfectly until the crash? Don't think so, Tim. I'm really at a loss here. I've scan disked, defragged, uninstalled and reinstalled, and damn near done everything else but calling a priest for an exorcism. HELP!
