I like the idea, although I dont like the fire and the background. The fire is kinda strange and doesnt really seem to me like burning the paper. The background looks boring and unrealistic. Maybe you should use another texture if you want to use the wall. Anyhow: The idea is absolutely brilliant, keep working on it.

Hey Bernie, neat concept! Wonder what secret mission is behind that note? Lol.

I think the fire looks believable enough, but it just hangs out there in space. Maybe you could tie it together with the scene a little more by modifying the paper itself so that part of it is chared and curling up from being burned? Just the far left corner. The background looks okay to me, but maybe a stained glass window in the wall would add interest? Nice idea. Mission Impossible circa 1066. Is it just a trick of the lights and shadows or maybe just my imagination? I seem to see a volcano type shape in the flames. Did you do that intentionally? Looks cool. jon

Great use of the theme. I had a lot of ideas when I came up with it, but didn't think of this one. Nice work. :)

Dear all, Actually the flames are not on a sphere - like normally with this kind of mat - they are modelled and have really the shape that you see - jstro - that's the reason for the volcano effect - even in the modell some particles are blown up! You can download the modell of the burning paper and flame in Wings3d-format at my downloads site - please, see the link. I often like to do modells where parts are "split away". You can see other examples when you follow the link. Thanks for your comments. ;-) BernieKeep cool and fight for the right of others
