Hey all, this is my first post,so before I ask anything I would like to say thank you to everyone for making the 3D artworld such a supportive place.Particularly morphworld as I have spent a huge amount of time there, and of course,Renderosity itself. I would like to know if there is a way, once you have created a new character,to then set the parameter dials to zero and keep the modified figure "modified"?. thanks.

Try using "Figure/Create Full Body Morph". It will create a single morph dial which incorporates all of a figure's current morph settings.

Hmmm ... not exactly sure where you're going here. Why do you want to zero the dials without reseting the figure? If you're tring to save the pose just add it to the pose library. BTW love the alias. ;-)

thanks for the replies.by the way Bushi, I am using your eyes, they're excellent thanks.I'm not really trying to save the pose as much as the morphed and scaled facial and body features.I guess I just want to be able to move the character through a variety of different expressions and poses, knowing that I can return any one feature to its customized state at zero. I did try the full body morph, thanks Nance, but even with that it did not appear that I could then switch individual morphs and scales back to zero.I know that Thorne has characters that have single morphs for each element, essentially thats what I would like.thanks again for the thoughts.

Thanks Allerleirauh, thats what I was looking for.The only things not affected are as you say the scaling and taper controls, but The single morph target works well for what I want.

I don't know how comfortable you are editing the CR2's. It's like breathing to me. But you can set the "initValue" in the morph targets section of the CR2 to anything you want. It's normally set at 0. So don't confuse it as an ON, OFF switch. This way you won't increase the file size with extra morph's. ScottA

Open the joint parameters window. There is a "Zero Figure" gadget there. Can't miss it. It zeros everything.
