Hey all well i started with some textures for the armor and i did this chainmail texture for it and need to know how i can create a trans map for it so you can see all the little gaps in it and then the leg will show through, All comments and help grately appreciated cheers dolly

I haven't had good results with chainmail transmaps. Basically what has always happened for me is that I end up with a really sheer looking material that looks more like shiny see-through clothing than it does chainmail...

It depends on what image editor you use. In PSP, you would set the contrast to 100, then just blaken the areas that would be transparent. Or if you send me the texture, I can do it. zombiestudio@attbi.com

Well, chainmail won't work well with a transmap... but ringmail works, like on the Orc Mats for the Adventurer's garb, transmaps work...
