Facially focused or no, it is a powerful image; were I you, I would not give up on this combination just yet. Peace.

Hi I think this one is better than the Namor (no offense meant) Namors eyes were too feminine. This one however....looks like shes waiting for her lover(Clark Gable, Alan ladd or Burt Lancaster as rogues)to return, with her powerful friend as a guard. Just my opinion! Dave

We too often think of portraits as just the face, ignoring the portraits of Madame X, the wedding couple, and so many others. American Gothic is a portrait and would lose much of its meaning if the focus was narrowed to just their heads. However, when entering contests or pleasing clients, we need to consider what they mean when the rules/parameters are established. Meanwhile, this is lovely work. Is that a tiger paw in her left hand? Carolly

egaeus, This is a wonderful image. I never recieved this portrait for the portrait challenge. And if I had rejected it I would definitley have notified you :) If you would rather enter this image then Namor, the Sub-Mariner, just upload it and I will delete the other. I'm easy. smerc
