This is my May Challenge called "Obsession" The scene is rendered in Vue4. No postwork. First of all I want to thank my friend Vali, because she was so nice to allow me to use some of her cool Poser renders as the photos on the table. Thank you, my dear friend! The texture on the matchboxes is made in Photoshop from one of my Vue renders. The smoke and fire textures are made entirely in Vue. For the fire I used luminous and glowing materials and for the smoke volumetric materials. All objects are made from primitives.

Nice compositing work ! A story is behind this pic, I'm sure... I only have a question about rendering mode you used (maybe you should use ultra if it was not already the case) Yves

No I didn't used ultra because it would take a lot to render on my PC. The render quality I used is final.

Nice to submit here :-) filip. I like the image even when not rendered in ultra. I often render in Final not to blur the image. I have uploaded it to the challenge gallery. Guitta

This image is stunning! Wonderful story.. very realistic smoke too! Uh.. there is Final, then Broadcast.. isn't Ultra after that? I use Broadcast for things like this... (final for when I want plants and grass to look more rough). Lyne

Stii deja ce parere am despre imaginea asta:-) Este extraordinara si e super sa vad ca imaginile mele ti-au fost de folos. Totul mi se pare foarte reusit, pana si cutiile de chibrituri arata mai mult decat realistice. Ai facut o treaba extra !
