I just purchased the Michael 2 texture map (SR) I also purchased the Michael face morph and textures. Is there someone out there that can walk me thru and give me a detailed explantion on how to utilize them. I am brand new to Poser 4 so if you could be as detailed as possible it would be helpful. I read the the section in the book on Applying Surface Materials but my renders do not seem right. Michael retaining his cartoonish eye brows is the main problem I am having.

I can't load michael at the moment, but I believe mike2 has BrowsGone. If you are using a texuture mat that has Eyebrows painted on the texture (on the face, not the eye brow spot), you should set that to 1.00 If you need, I can post a MAT file for you if you still need it. Probably, though, is that you set the brows to 1. Post back here if you need the MAT file eric

The Michael2 textures come with MAT poses, so you should just locate them in a folder called MAT Michael2 in your poses and double-click them to apply the texture to Michael.

A cautionary note: If you only have Poser 4, use the P4 MAT poses. The PP MAT poses are for use with Pro Pack.

Please, don't use the Brows Gone Morph dial. I've heard differing feedback on the results... Some people say it actually digs holes in the character's head. You have the newer textures, with a MAT Pose file. Go to Poses, MAT Michael 2. You'll see some choices for Mike's eye colors. Then you'll see some choices for Mike's skin textures. If you have Poser 4.03, use the P4 choices. If you have Poser Pro Pack, use the choices that don't have "P4" as part of the name. See the screenshot. ![Message671422.jpg](http://www.renderosity.com/photos/Message671422.jpg)

Be sure that you have the transparency set for the eyebrows. Unlike Vicki, you apply transparency to both Eyebrows and Upper Eyebrows. Be sure that's set at 100% MIN and MAX and falloff is set to 0%. Melanie

Of course, if you're using the MAT files, those settings are made for you. I'm working on a new tutorial about how to manually setup Mike's textures. If I'm lucky the tutorial might be released later today. I have to do some "household chores" before the wife returns... Message671422.jpg
