The cylinders on their backs are backpack motor and propeller sets. - - - - - -
I see my scuba diver model's had over 1100 downloads so far. Come on, lets see a few renders of what you lot have been doing with it!

So many files to load. How about a full cr2? I would go nuts on this guy if I had the patience to...

My frogman's .ZIP file does contain a full CR2 file for him. But it points to some .OBJ files. I suppose I could have embedded all the .OBJ matter in the .CR2 file, but people would also wants the component models separate, to use them separately, and I have not got enough WWW space to incorporate the .OBJ mesh of the man in diving suit and of my two breathing sets in the .CR2 files of groupings and also to have them separate. So my .CR2 files must point to separate mesh files using figureResFile lines. Sorry.

I would like to see someone come up with a nice Oneill or Body Glove texture map for those wetsuits. The design is great, Anthony, all I would suggest is that you try deleting all the lights in the scene but two. Make one of them greyish, and the other blue-sea green for that underwater effect. Maybe some bubbles with transparency, and render the scene with anti-aliasing enabled for a smoother look. Might consider blowing up the texmap for the sub 200% or so, to remove the pixel smearing from the labeling on the side. These are minor improvements you could make. The scene is great! I love the frogmen. Keep it up! co(V)(V)union

Thanks for the advice.
Maybe some bubbles with transparency Not here, as the frogmen are using oxygen rebreathers, not ordinary scuba. Here the cylinder supplies oxygen, not air. The water wapor and carbon dioxide that the diver produces are absorbed by sodalime or similar in the canister. Thus the set lasts much longer per weight unit on a filling, and does not make bubbles that could betray to people on the surface where the frogmen are. But such sets need more training than with air scuba for the diver to use them safely.
