I've been rendering successfully for over a year but suddenly hit a road bump. When rendering (to a new window with nothing selected) Poser renders only a portion of the scene -- a wall -- but in great detail. I've always had the whole scene rendered in the past. Anyone know what's going on? Moush

That's a new one on me. Maybe you just have to resize the render window to see the whole thing? -JH.

When you finish the render, see if there are scroll bars on the right side and bottom of the new rendered window. If so, that means the picture is just larger than your screen will handle. Take it into a graphic program like Photoshop and it'll open up full size for you. Melanie

If not just an oversized render, this does sound like a new one. When you find out please let us, in here, know what was causing this phenomenon. Does rotating the camera and re-rendering make a difference in which object becomes visible or, is it always the same one regardless of the angle from which the scene is viewed?

I don't think the render problem is because of window size (Melanie). I always stretch the window to maximum from the lower right corner. However, I have reconstructed the scene (it wasn't saved) and have been unable to duplicate the phenomenon. It occurred at various camera angles and distances. There was a one-way wall in the scene, invisible in the Poser window, which may have played some part, though the problem didn't occur when rendering to AVI film. Thanks for the help. Next time it happens I'll save the scene and experiment thoroughly.

I ran into something similar. The full figure and all props would render, with the exception of ONE prop. Tried it a number of times, same thing happened. Quit Poser and tried again, and it rendered fine. That said a RAM problem to me, but I work on a Mac, so who knows. --ratta
