Hi friends, i just uploaded this one to the gallery and there were more then 100 viewers, but just one comment. so i decide to post it here to ask for your critics. I know the hair is really ugly if the monitors brightness is set to "high". i was shocked as i saw a really different picture at work then at home. My first try to "push up" a pure Poser render with Photoshop.

It really shows emotion, very powerful, I don't think the hair is ugly either I think it suits the image very well ........well done, Steve

Very Strong image. I'd look to make the eyebrows appear less painted on. I find the title amusing. Its a phrase we use quite a bit here when production isn't going well. heh jje

Karsten, Nice work! I only have 2 suggestions: The tear needs to be a little more transparent (in my own opinion only). If you have KPT 5, try using the fiber optics module (on a layer as it will push over your mask a little) on the hair. Since it's difficult to get it to "bend" its fibers, you may need to break the hair up into 2 or three masks so the fibers "flow" with the hair. It's not perfect, but it adds some "hairiness" to the hair, which I've found helps a lot. When I come back from vacation, I'll try to post an example for you. -Jim

Hi Jim! Thanks for your suggestions! I have KPT 6, maybe they left this function you described, i will have a look at it later. (i'm at work at the moment) I wish you a very happy and refreshing vacation :o) -Karsten
