I just bought PInstall, and think it's a great program! It only costs $9.95! You can easily install all your Poser stuff straight from a zip file by making a few selections. This program would be great for newbies. You don't need to worry about all the details. Experts might find PInstall just a bit limiting. PInstall doesn't yet offer the chance to choose exactly where your new items get installed. For example, it would be good to install all my car stuff in the "Car" folder. I've sent an email to markdc to see if he has plans to make this improvement. I'll keep you posted when I hear from him. Ron

I use it usally for zips that have geometry in it (no more error messages); poses, textures etc. I unzip manually. I think it is a great program.

I just use winrar, if I need a new directory I just make it during the extraction.

I used to use a similar program, Poser Loader. However, I'm very specific on where I put my files, especially textures. If you associate your .cr2 files with a text editor, you can simple double click them to see where the .obj file goes (it's usually listed within the first few lines). I used to not worry about where everything went, until my textures were all over the place, which drove me crazy.
