On all my images but one, applying the Diffuse Glow filter doesn't highlight the light tones at all. In fact, it darkens them to a muddy brown color, and I'm not sure what I did to make it work correctly the only time it did. Does anyone know why this is, and what I can do to correct it? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi kitty,
The diffuse glow filter adds white noise or pixels in the same color as the background color of the image. Basically it sprays a coat of dithered "background-colored" pixels all over your image. If those images already have a dark background then that filter can cause a problem (not the intended effect). You might want to look at using a different filter to achieve what you're looking for...
Do you have an image that you'd like to post (or a link to one in your gallery) that you are unhappy with the "glow"?
We can help you get that "little tweek" that'll make your artwork KICK.
