Hello, I have two questions .... I'm trying to make some modellings with Truspace 3. -> First problem : as I use different objects and parts to compose my object, the final composed object is very heavy in Poser and sometimes even impossible to download ... is there any way to merge the different parts all together in order to get a composed figure which wouldn't include crossed invisible parts ? -> second one : How do I do to make a prop when I'm finished with modelling my object ? -> third and last question : is there any good designed free Motorbike available such as in Akira movie ? (3DS or any other extension) Thank you for any Help. OJM.

heyas; #1: no clue, because i dont have truespace. try the 3d apps board. :) #2: import the obj (or 3ds, or whatever) file into poser, open the prop library where you want it, then hit the + button to add it in. (if you want to make your prop really spiffy, import it into poser, size it in relation to the figure(s), then export it as an obj and re-import it, and save THAT in the prop library.) #3: um... dunno that one, either; not really into motorbikes. check 3d cafe for free models, props guild, poserworld, baumgarten... basically anybody over on the 'web resources' list to the right.

Hi OJM I use Truespace 4 If I have understood your question correctly what you need to do is use the Boolean tool to union the parts together. This will eliminate all the surplus mesh inside the object. Also, generally try to keep the polygon count as low as possible. If you are using NURBS operations this can run exteremly high. Whilst I'm here I'll recommend John Wind's Compose utility which will convert between COB and OBJ format. It will also perform grouping operations. If I can be of further help I'm happy for you to email me at pcooke@mis.net or view my pages at http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~pcooke/graphics/examples.htm
