I use Koz hair all the time...I like it better than the stuff I have paid for. Poser just gave me a error screen saying ...The file being read is not a valid poser file. I have never had that happen before. HELP

I assume that you have shut down your machine down , started up and tried again ???

I just reinstalled the Koz Alice hair...and it's back...Thank god!

I don't remember if the hair in question uses an .obj file, but if it does, it might help to delete the .rsr associated with the .obj. Sometimes they get corrupt and causes all kinds of weird error messages. Deleting the .rsr will result in Poser creating a new, hopefully healthy, one.

i got the same error a time ago with a cr2 file i edited. i found out that i accidentally ereased one (!) single { at the beginning of the file - so poser couldn't recognize it as a poser file.

I tell you it scared the crap out of me...I thought I was going to have reinstall...Poser!...There was no way I wasn't going to have his hair...

I can't seem to ever download a working copy of Rei Hair, I always get a corrupted zip file (800k when it's listed as 1meg). Does anyone know where I could get a different file to see if it's just my dumb luck that I can't download it?

I've downloaded it fine. Have you contacted Kozaburo to see if he's had other problems with it? Melanie

I finally got it from the mirror site. Maybe his main site has a corrupt file. I will e-mail im just to let him know there may be a problem.
