Ive been using Poser for about a year now, and have become bored with creating stills, and wish to move into animation with Poser. I have no problem animating figures. My problem is with creating scenes in which the place the figures, and placing the figures in them. I don't believe the best way to do this is from within Poser. Are there programs which would make this easier. What should I do im totally lost.

Hi, you can set up scenes in Bryce and import them as background picture into poser (works with movies too). Then set up your Poser action. Another way is working with the plugins for Lightwave, Max or Cinema 4d. You can create your animation in Poser and then open your scene in one of these programs. I personally work with Bryce as I am a big fan of it since version 2. You can watch my work following the link above. Good luck Saschagryffnn posted Fri, 24 May 2002 at 5:59 AM
You can also render your Poser animation as a series of images with an alpha channel and overlay that on an environment or video in an editing program as they do to get rid of the background with blue screen live action shots - Elisa/gryffnn
