I am not good at making props/clothes so I was wondering if there is a way to import figures from NHL games. I really want a Bruins goalie but have no clue as how to make a mask, pads, etc etc. Didn't know if it was possible but I thought I would ask. Thanks in Advance!!

You could always download some of the pads and mask and redo the texture map with the logo on it. Sharen

Lupey, You should be careful of copyright issues. And at any rate these figures are probably fairly lowres. I'd say you'd be better off making a brand new character. But that's my $.02 Lyrra

Lyrra appreciate the info. I don't have a clue about how to make the pads, glove, blocker, mask etc.

I think the old Zygote Costume CD had a bunch of football stuff - don'e know if DAZ still sells it. Props Guild used to have a helmet - but they went subscription. And don't I remember some for Mike? But I might just be losing my marbles :) I'd suggest asking the forum at large. People here are very helpful with that sort of thing :)

I did notice that everyone here is extremely helpful. Helped this newbie out ALOT so far!!!! I was playing NHL 2002 and thought they players would look cool in poser. Wish I had the knowledge of how to make the clothing and stuff. Maybe later down the road I will :) Again thanks! Where would I post to ask the forum at large about NHL stuff for poser??

Yeah But now PRO HOCKEY :( Daz cd only has a stick and a puck on it. Oh well I'll keep fooling around with it and see where it goes. Thanks again!

the jersey and shorts can be scaled up long sleeved pullover and bermuda shorts, you would just have to make textures for them for the uniforms pads are basically squished squares, again, mapping the texture onto them. the helmet is a cut sphere, mask is the face of a poser figure with details removed. some quick and dirty ways to make what you need.

Hi, There is a program called "jack the ripper" that allows you to rip the graphics, textures, audio and models from some games. It was built to get stuff out of tombraider but I think it may be more generic these days. Throw it into google and see what you get back later jb
