I am having trouble installing the poser for max plugin, when i try to install the pluging in begins to run....box "searching for installed components" then comes back unable to find valid 3d studio max installation. Any body had this trouble,... whys this happening...what can i do to correct it.

you have to have max installed to install the plug in. I got the same error message, until after I re-installed max while rebuilding the comp after a crash.

If you have max 4 you will need to get the new 3ds/poser plug in from curious labs, I do believe the one that is on the propack disc is for R3 and not R4.

Ive looked on curious labs but i cannot find a linkany other places where i can find it?
