The saddle still needs stirrups, but I'm not quite up to creating and parenting those tonight. Maybe later this week.
Any hints on the best way to do that? Can I parent the stirrup to the strap, and the strap to the saddle? The saddle is parented to the horse's abdomen, so that would make it all one fluid piece. But can I parent the rider's foot to the stirrup while the hips are parented to the horse's abdomen? Would that allow the stirrups to move with the rider's foot? Or will I have to make this silly thing a "character"? (sigh)
I guess I'll have to do a bridle after this. The one that's shown here is from Cloud Castle (http://cloudlandcastle.com/characaters.html). Hopefully, I can make one almost as good as this one.

Well, I think this is wonderful, you did a fine job. On our saddle, we parented the straps to the saddle and the foot piece to the straps so that they could move in the proper fashion according to the foot. We did not parent it to the horse though. Sharen

wohoo! lookie that! :) go tyger cub! you could make a strap & stirrup that parents to the foot, and just have it look as if it is sticking off the saddle. hmmmm.... actually, maybe you could have that, but have the stirrup/strap prop 'point at' the saddle. there'd be a fun experiment. :)
