Cool start to your story. Interested in seeing where you go with it.

The art looks great, and you've got a real good-looking character there, but you've got one little hiccup, and I'm pretty sure Sturkwurk, MaximumImpact, or any of the other Comic Book gurus will verify this: The name 'Black Orchid' is already in use...by DC Comics. That could possibly run you into problems later on, I'm not 100% sure. I'm working on a digital comic myself, and believe me, I'm having a devil of a time coming up with names that aren't in use elsewhere. CT

CT, Black Orchid won't cause any problems as long as the characters aren't the same. Example, if I nicknamed a character in a book "Spiderman" because he collected spiders I wouldn't have any problems either. But If I named him spiderman because he had some super hero spider powers then there would be a problem. :-)

I do not feel obliged to believe that the same
God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has
intended us to forgo their use.
