Hi Marque, could you tell how is it customizable. I was thinking that since it is a character for Stephanie it could be turned in a male too... Could you post some more images? Thank you in advance. Staby

Hmmm, very tempting! The pop-ups depict the classic heart-shaped face, the Barbie sculpted nose (with a "Nostril Gone" option), and even the traditionally "impossible" fashion doll physique. But here's the crucial question. What about the eyes? The ad shots only depicted almond shaped ones. I saw a morph labeled "EyeBig," but how well does that morph capture the time honored Tezuka design?
For me, that will probably tip the scale for me to purchase or pass. Could you provide a couple of examples? Obviously, you seemed to have bought the character.
Thanks in advance.

Why the price difference: Vicky $34.97 Stephanie $20.97 Any ideas? Mazak
Redfern posted Fri, 31 May 2002 at 6:06 AM
Mazak, I suspect that the $35 model is a fully stand-alone wireframe, requiring no other character for it to work. The one for $21 requires a previous purchase of stephanie. Basically, that version is really a series of morph targets to convert Steph' into a quasi-anime babe.
Then again, I could be totally off my gourd. ;-)

So, pardon the dumb question...but will everything that fits Stephie fit Aiko?
Strangechilde posted Fri, 31 May 2002 at 7:59 AM
There are pictures of the character as male, and a 'BodyMale' morph is on th elist of full body morphs. Very tempting!
Staby posted Fri, 31 May 2002 at 8:23 AM
Thanks Strangechilde, I think I skipped the last picture! It looks really a good package and the hair is great too.
tonymouse posted Fri, 31 May 2002 at 10:06 AM
I was over at Daz site checking it out. My only question since the vesa hair pack requires previous purchase of the figure. Does the figure come with the hair?? I emailed them but they haven't gotten back to me yet and the products page dosn't make it clear. I might have a use for the male morphed version.

There is also a pair of Steph boots I think here at Renderosity that go great with her. Marque
Marque posted Fri, 31 May 2002 at 3:36 PM
Er...free Steph boots...should have said that they are FREE! lol Marque
Marque posted Fri, 31 May 2002 at 3:44 PM
Yipe, go do a search in the free stuffage here at Renderosity for boots and there is another pair there that is too cool, along with the stephie boots. Marque

The picture of Aiko off the Daz website features a pair of sneakers style thing, but no description that they are an associated product or included, anybody know where they are?
Sydney_Andrews posted Fri, 31 May 2002 at 6:37 PM
it would be nice if there was a discription on the DAZ site of exactly what the product is
Marque posted Fri, 31 May 2002 at 7:19 PM
I think those are the combat boots. They should have listed what is not included with the product and that would have cleared up the confusion. Ok, I'll get the torches but someone else is in charge of the pitchforks this time. 8^) Marque

Yeah, I spent ages looking through my stuff trying to find out where the boots had been installed too :-) Oh well, no matter.

Can the model be turned into a guy as well? If so, can someone please post a picture? Thanks!

Basis3D posted Sat, 01 June 2002 at 11:56 AM
Yes, the model can turn into a guy, Crescent. There is a male body morph. Although I don't know if it would really be anatomically "correct." I'm guessing the male body morph doesn't add male genitalia but maybe someone who's actually bought the model could answer that question. Marque? Pokeydots?

Sorry they are such crappy renders, just threw them in with default lighting so you could see the body and face. Marque
Basis3D posted Sat, 01 June 2002 at 12:01 PM
Don't worry about the "crappy" renders, Marque. Thanks for spending the time to show us the model under basic lighting conditions.

You could probably create the morphs that make the eyes look like the traditional anime, but I don't think you can do it with the straight model as it is. Marque
