hi, I'm just getting into 3D immaging. Rendering a basic figure I can do. Adding some texture maps and Bumps too. Post rendering in photoshop is starting to look good for a beginner. But to get a better result I want to create my own clothes. Does ne1 got a tutorial about designing clothes in trueSpace 5? or in an other aplication? Not just a tut. where they explain everything rapidly. I'm looking for one in detail. My first work in Poser:

There are a lot of Tuts for making clothing available thru the Tutorials Link atop this page, as well as thru some of the web site links at the bottom of the margin, but by far the most comprehensive I've seen is that same CD from PhilC - a very reasonable price, too. He's one of the best artists using TrueSpace for poser I'm aware of, too. Look at his products in the Marketplace, or visit his site, and you can see what it's capable of.

A visit to the Character Creators Forum here on R'osity will take you to a link to "Poser Figure Creation Tutorial" by HawkinZ. A search for "thip" on the Amapi Forum here on R'osity will take you to a string of postings that walk you through the entire clothesmaking process. The modeling techniques can be easily adapted to TrueSpace (I use TS myself for commercial work). And a few bucks will take you to PhilC's CD, which will take you to the point where you'll probably never need to ask questions again ;o)
