I don't know right now but I will keep a look out for you, we have some free models you can take that will work with Poser 3, go grab some if you need them. We have lots, most you can pose....Sharen

Hi Techie, I have a similar problem! I'm trying to figure out how to make my own stuff, because poser 3 stuff seems thin on the ground. If you go to Phil C's website, he has some characters and stuff for poser 3, a lot of them are in the freestuff section here. If you look through these posts, you will find one from bloodsong called something like "the BBN is here" ...it's a norn and it works perfectly in poser 3 for me (thanks bloodsong :) best thing I've got!) If you are looking for tutorials, or general how to information, check out tutorials here, then go to curious labs website and at the bottom of their download page is an advanced techniques manual for poser 3, which has tutorials on making morph targets, creating new figures etc... and from their links page you can find some good tutorials, some of which are for poser 3 as well as 4. Happy hunting, if I find any good stuff I'll let you know, Al.

heyas; you can always try p4 figures in p3. depending on what the p4 figure has in it, it may or may not work fine in p3. some things that don't work in p3 are -- more than 99 morphs on one part transparency and/or reflection maps (but the model should still work okay) figures that use multiple maps on different materials (although i'm not sure about this one). i know over on poserforum.net that english bob actually got victoria to work in p3, but you might want to check out the details of things like that before you plunk down any money on stuff advertised as p4 only. :) oh, also before you go poking around with 'this file has a higher version number than expected,' you should backup the main files in your poser base directory. especially that poser.rsr. you can write-protect that one, as well. it gets clobbered a lot.
