If you've noticed an absence of Brits lately, the Jubilee event was phenonmenal! You wouldn't believe.....

Yes it was one hot event, and still going on in various locations around the UK, just taking a quick pc break and then back to the party.

The greatest part of wisdom is learning to develop  the ineffable genius of extracting the "neither here nor there" out of any situation...."

...and worth every penny just to see the guitarist from Queen playing the national anthem from the top of Buck house, or a million people singing Land of Hope and Glory, or Concorde, or the Hells Angels charging down the Mall full pelt at HM, or Dame Edna, I dunno just brilliant....

No thanks. There's enough class division in the States as it is; why would anyone want to reintroduce all that royalty/nobility crap? Besides, our celebrities are a whole lot better looking. The royal family are a very expensive dog and pony show, a vestigial governmental organ as useless as your appendix. God knows why the Brits keep them around; everybody loves a parade, I guess.

Two little memories off the top of my head: Phillipa Forrester asking a tiny tot which commonwealth country she was representing, answer - China!!! and of a semi-naked aborigine complete with digeredoo (sp!) and a couple of boomerangs, "where are you from then?" brilliant....
