Holy smokes! I won? Thanks guys! Okay, I challenge you all to create images where you paint with light. This challenge really applies to the people working in 3d, but 2d people can play too, if they're really creative... Here is what I mean: You can have any objects and any background you want in the scene, but they all have to be GRAYSCALE. All textures for 3d objects must be shades of gray, all background images need to be completely devoid of color. Here's the kicker: Your lights can be any color you want. You can have as few or as many different lights as you want. Use light to paint color into your scene. You can have as much or as little color as you want. The images can be photorealistic or as abstract as you want. The idea is to play with light to create interesting compositions of form and color. For 2d people it is even more challenging: SIMULATE the effect of lighting grayscale objects with colored lights in your 2d work. Bonus points to 2d people who pay close attention to how colored light and shadow interact. Sound good?
