I have RDS 5. I name everything, everywhere (polygons, polymeshes) but when I save as an object (with full group path) and import into Poser, I can't get names to show up in Render Materials. In fact, there is only one material, the default. Any help appreciated. --ratta

ratta - When you Export the OBJ from RDS, go into the OBJ Export Options and check Export Texture Maps. This will add the Usemtl lines to your OBJ file. These are what Poser uses to set materials for body parts. If still a problem let me know. Clint

Ahhh... I did try that, but it took so long, I figured it wasn't working and canceled it. Patience is a virtue; what a concept. Thanks Clint. --ratta

Is there a way to do this same thing in Carrara? I know I've asked this in another thread, but no answer yet. Thanks.
