Following the FAQ in the Poser Technical, i followed the creating new figure..i did everything..exported my .obj, changed the pointers in the .cr2 file..now how do i get it back into poser..i imported it but its all one piece...?... Question 2...i was browsing through and was noticing some people taking pictures and using them to model figures..like the alien from aliens...uh...doesnt that run into copyright violations? its one thing to create it in the style, but when you recreate a character or figure without the proper permissions....??...didnt know if this had been addresssed, tho im sure it has...tia..

For Q1, if you have made a .cr2 file, you can load the model from the library. The way u get the figure is load it from the library, so it can be pose. Not import the obj into poser. There are many good tutorials here and another good one in the sams3D. http://www.sams3d.com/ About Q2.... I think if you are not selling those models, that's ok, but I am not sure.

As long as it isn't a commercial product, this sort of issue usually falls under the category of fan art, although some copyright-holders are less lenient about such usage than others (particularly Disney and the Dragonball people).
