Dont use Microsoft for anything

Don't use too much color. I think you'll have to transform it in 256 colors and in thiscolor, you'll have to include a transparency color. So you'll wont be able to put some very colorful and detailled scene. I tried an explosion and it was awfully ugly. I think that you might have headache. I tried once to create one and was very dificult. Good luck, you'll have many anims to do.

Someone should shoot the engineer that designed the office paper clip. It does nothing except disrupt the work flow and cost employer money. Secretaries want a raise? Produce more and that means don't waste time with the office assistant. Even the time it takes to ditch it adds up at the end of the year office wide.

I would agree that the Office Assistant is a waste of time. It merely introduces the concept. The MS Agent is a more fliexible interface beyond the simplistic Office Assistant and can be used as part of the interface to web pages and applications. It can move, point, and speak. I don't see it as useful for an expert, but as an novice guide to operating an application or as a sales representative on a web page it has some possible merit. The use of an Agent for brand recognition, much like a logo, but interactive is where the technology will get used. You can use speech input coupled with simple AI routines to make playful interface today.
